Background Info: I have been natural for 7 years, since I was 12. I am 19 now. For the last 18 years, I have been extremely ignorant about hair care. I just bought my first bottle of conditioner last year. So although I have been natural for a long time, I am very new to natural hair care, just like a lot of women who have had relaxers their whole life and recently big chopped. For the last 7 years, I wore my hair either in individual braids, or flat ironed. Thats it. Back in April of this year is when a lightbulb went off in my head, when I found Curlynikki.com. I had no idea there were so many styling options for natural hair, I was so excited and I am so thankful for Nikki and her blog. Now I am learning about natural products, and so many new styles for natural hair. This blog is my photo journal for new and classic styles that I try. I hope you like it!
